Dr James Kingsland
James is the Senior Partner in a Personal Medical Services partnership in Wallasey. He has been in practice on the Wirral since 1989. His practice has won numerous awards for clinical excellence and was in the early waves of fundholding, a first wave PMS plus site, and early adopter of Practice Based Commissioning.
Niall Dickson
Niall Dickson joined the General Medical Council as Chief Executive and Registrar in January 2010.
He joined the GMC from The King's Fund, the leading independent think tank and development organisation, where he was Chief Executive for six years (2004-2009).

After completing a Computer Science degree, Peter worked for a number of organisations in both the public and private sector. In 1989 Peter moved into the City where he was responsible for a number of substantial service and systems redesign projects, his last position being Group IS Director of the CCF Charterhouse Group.

Christina trained as a Speech and Language Therapist at Manchester University She qualified in 1980, and practised clinically for ten years before moving into the first of a series of operational management posts and subsequently strategic leadership roles in the Health Service.

Gill is a partner in the health group at Mills & Reeve. She advises national and local health organisations on a range of commercial, procurement, strcutural and policy matters. Gill’s expertise enables her to support her clients in finding pragmatic robust solutions to what are increasingly complex delivery mechanisms for healthcare.
Tim Smart
Tim Smart is Chief Executive of a large London teaching hospital, where he has increased the focus on patient experience, safety, and on the basics of high quality performance. His experience before joining the NHS in 2008 was as an international business leader at BT for 20 years, and as a general management graduate recruit at Shell for 9 years prior to that. He is a Trustee of two children’s charities and has been an independent director of a financial services company in the USA. His degree is in Economics.
Dr Ruth O’Hare
Dr O'Hare is the Chair of Central London Healthcare and the GP Partner of Connaught Square Practice near Marble Arch in London. Ruth qualified in medicine from Cambridge University and has run a general practice in Westminster since 1986. Her family including a grown up son and daughter have lived in the area for 25 years. Ruth thrives on Westminster's diversity and the opportunities to improve and develop public services.
